We celebrated confirmation there. The food was delicious and we felt very comfortable 2 days before lockdown. Thanks to the Wachtelkönig team!

We were here for the first time. Up front the food was great and I can only recommend it. Everything is freshly prepared here. For starters I had a wedding soup. Which fully met my expectations. For the main course I had a rump steak, the point was exactly right, it was very tender and really well seasoned. The salad to go with it was great and well put together. For dessert we had the dessert variety, all of which were very delicious. The staff was very friendly and open-minded. Somehow I am missing a consistent concept. Nothing was what I expected. When I heard the name "Wachtelkönig" I thought of an older house with a little more sophisticated cuisine, we ended up on a golf course, the restaurant is very modern and the menu has home-style cooking. I honestly missed the quail I would have expected by the name. Still worth a visit, we will come again.

Very nice staff who take care of you attentively. The food came quickly and was great! Salad imaginative and not run-of-the-mill. Steaks to the point! Prices correspond to the quality! It was a pleasure! ??

Unfortunately, you can't give 10 stars :-) We recently celebrated our daughter's confirmation here over the weekend. Despite Corona restrictions, it was, as has often been the case, a pleasure to host the ceremony here. We had a separate room so that the day guests didn't "bother"; the tables were very tastefully set and you felt well taken care of at all times by the very attentive staff. The food was served at the table, in spite of 25 people, everyone had the food almost at the same time, and there was still asked whether there was more meat or vegetables and that was used in abundance due to the excellent taste. A must in Wachtelkönig is the dessert plate, really very tasty. A big praise goes to the very careful and service-oriented staff, who really made everything possible. Shortly before, tables were changed, because of Cancellation, special requests fulfilled and always asked whether everything is ok. In any case, we had the feeling that the staff was enjoying their work. We can wholeheartedly recommend the Wachtelkönig for a delicious evening lunch or cake. We look forward to the next visit. Very, very delicious food and a particularly nice staff

Best place for a coffee and a cake as well as romantic dinner or family dinner. After a round of golf, good to drink beer with your flight mates at this place. Free Wifi. Wedding and Birthday parties can be held there.

Nice lunch with colleagues Ten hungry men came to lunch with the Quail King after a hike. Within minutes, the drinks and 15 minutes later the very different dishes (kale, fish platter - just a hint of breading around the delicate fillets -, schnitzel, currywurst, piss, salad plate, etc.) were on the table. The amount was good enough for everyone. Good value for money. A friendly service took care of us. Everything OK.!

The service was very friendly. As a golf club accessible to everyone. Whether for two or for festivities, there is always, a good atmosphere there. The kitchen is excellent and special requests are taken when ordering. We recommend. We have been there several times.

Chose to make a pitstop here to avoid the insane trafic situation following two accidents on the A1. Not a mistake, it was a most enjoyable break. The staff is very friendly and we enjoyed both the beer, soup and complimentary coffees which were provided after we had been asked to move to a different table. The view of the golf course and lake is charming.

A very neat restaurant. The service was extremely courteous and the food tasted good. There is only one small menu, but everything is included. The view of the small lake is very idyllic. I really recommend this restaurant.
